Abstract Artist Laurie Goddard Conducts Workshop in Jeddah
Laurie led a painting workshop with 20 young male and female Saudi artists from Jeddah, Mecca, and other cities in the Hijaz. Participants produced impressive works speaking to both modern and traditional cultural issues in Saudi Arabia. 60 artists, gallery owners, journalists, and other post contacts attended the exhibit; many expressed interest in keeping in touch with Laurie and possibly collaborating on future artistic projects.
