Pre-departure Orientation Session
The Education Advisor and a Consular Officer presented a Predeparture Orientation at the Consulate General on January 21st. The Orientation session was attended by 150 students planning to study in the US. The session focused on the questions and concerns of students already accepted by universities and colleges in the US as well as the subject of student visas.
Many students were notably excited to attend school in the US and welcomed the opportunity to gather information that would better prepare them and to discuss their expectations and alleviate anxieties. The Education Advisor is planning upcoming Orientation sessions to further help students prepare for studying and living in the US.
