Change in public access to U.S. Consulate General Jeddah

Due to increased traffic on Palestine Road and ongoing traffic safety concerns, effective January 18, 2009 public access to the U.S. Consulate General in Jeddah will be available only at the Hail Street entrance.   Existing traffic signals on the corners of Hail and Palestine Streets (immediately across from Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital) will make it possible for Consulate visitors to cross the street, entering a concealed walkway, gaining safer Consulate access.

Public service hours will remain 13:00 – 15:00 Saturday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, except for holiday closures.

The U.S. Consulate advises all American citizens in Jeddah to register with the Embassy/consulate, so that in case of emergency we may contact them via a warden network.
