The U.S. Consulate advises all American citizens in Jeddah to register with the Embassy/consulate, so that in case of emergency we may contact them via a warden network.

American citizens worldwide can register online at the State Department's travel registration page.

Americans may also sign up to receive copies of all Embassy warden notices by e-mailing the following address: Wardensca@state.gov
