Voting

American citizens cannot vote at the Consular Section. To vote in U.S. elections, American citizens must request an absentee ballot from their last U.S. state of residence in the United States. The official ballot request and voter registration form is available at the Consular Section. Citizens should file ballot and voter registration requests early, at least 60-90 days prior to the election.

For further information, visit the FVAP (Federal Voting Assistance Program) website.
