Immigrant Visas

Fees

Fees are collected during various stages of the immigrant visa process.  The payment procedures vary slightly, depending on whether the petition was filed with USCIS or at a post overseas.

Cases filed with USCIS: When the priority date for the petition is current, the National Visa Center (NVC) will send bills to the petitioner for the IV Application fee and the I-864 review fee.  Once NVC has received your immigrant visa fee, you will be sent the immigrant visa application (Form DS-230, part I) along with further instructions.  Do not send any payments to NVC's address in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as they will be returned to you. Send the payment and fee bill(s) to the St. Louis, Missouri, address provided in the instruction package.

For petitions filed at the U.S. Embassy Riyadh: All fees must be paid at the Embassy in cash.  The I-130 fee must be paid at the time of filing the petition.  The other fees are to be paid the day of the interview.
